Queer political candidate Karla Bailey-Smith will hold a virtual town hall with Equality Illinois Public Policy Director Mike Ziri on Thursday, June 18, at 7:30 p.m.
They will talk about legislative history, goals and celebrating Pride around COVID.
Bailey-Smith is looking to represent the 88th District (which includes such cities as Bloomington) in the Illinois state House. The current rep is Republican Keith Sommer, who has held the post since 1999.
