Illinois state Sen. Sara Feigenholtz (D-Chicago) and state Reps. Ann Williams (D-Chicago) and Yoni Pizer (D-Chicago) are partnering with the Citizens Utility Board and the Illinois Environmental Council to host a virtual town hall about clean energy issues in the time of a pandemic.

The event will take place Thursday, July 16, 12-1 p.m.

The event will feature a conversation between legislators and subject matter experts on the state’s clean energy challenges and opportunities in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Clean Energy Jobs Act—a comprehensive clean-energy bill sponsored by Williams and co-sponsored by Feigenholtz and Pizer—will be a central topic of discussion. Constituents can also ask questions and voice their opinions on these issues.
