The National Museum of Mexican Art (NMMA) is inviting the public to a virtual screening of the unity-themed, award-winning animated short “Color of Tomorrow” as part of its Storytellers 4 Unity Film Forum.

The virtual screening of the four-minute film will take place Thursday, March 25, at 2 and 5 p.m.

Michelle M. Collins, founder of A Non-Agency, wrote the film’s storyline as well as directed and produced it; Sam Kirk, a biracial, queer artist who grew up on the South Side of Chicago, illustrated the short.

Guests will also participate in a virtual discussion about the film with Collins, Kirk, Illinois state Rep. Theresa Mah, and NMMA chief curator Cesario Moreno.

The event is free. People can reserve spots at http://nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org/events/color-tomorrow-screening.
