Acts include Big Boi and Twista (Sept. 2); Drive-By Truckers and JD McPherson (Sept. 3); Neko Case with Son Little (Sept. 4); and George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic supported by Liquid Soul (Sept. 5).
In 2008, Evanston’s SPACE opened, offering a jewel box of a music venue with stellar production values and the opportunity to experience intimate performances from the finest musicians across a wide variety of genres: Dr. John, Lucinda Williams, Bob Mould, Sturgill Simpson, Gary Clark, Jr., Booker T. Jones and many more.
However, in order to bring larger acts, Out of Space was launched, and now presents eight diverse summer performances at two venues in the area: Temperance Beer Co. and Canal Shores.
