OneWheaton—a group of LGBTQA alumni and students of Wheaton College—will mark its 10th annual Homecoming Weekend with virtual activities on Oct. 8-9.

On Oct. 8, at 6 p.m., there will be an LGBTQIA Storytelling Hour. Attendees are urged to “bring a drink and a story.” This year, the organizers are looking for love stories, from experiences on campus or life after Wheaton.

The following day, there will be a 3 p.m. screening of the film Pray Away. Pray Away is a documentary that explores the origins of the gay conversion movement, some of its now-remorseful leaders and the trauma the movement inflicted on young gay people growing up in the church. The movie was a Tribeca Film Festival 2020 nominee for best documentary feature.
