DaBaby’s return to touring following fallout for making anti-gay comments at the Rolling Loud music festival in Miami this past summer has been postponed, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

The rapper’s been promoting his “Live Show Killa” tour in recent days, but the first show, slated for Chicago on Nov. 26, has been postponed to February. Multiple 2021 dates are now taking place in early 2022, including a Milwaukee stop at the Miller High Life Theatre that was scheduled for this Saturday. New dates have been announced for postponed shows in Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston and other cities.

Following his comments in July, organizers for several festivals—including Lollapalooza, Texas’ Austin City Limits and Las Vegas’ iHeartRadio Music Festival— removed DaBaby from their lineups. Several LGBTQ-rights organizations and major pop stars—including Madonna, Elton John and former collaborator Dua Lipa—condemned his statements.

In August, DaBaby joined a virtual, private meeting to discuss HIV education with leaders from Black AIDS Institute, Gilead Sciences COMPASS Initiative Coordinating Centers, GLAAD, National Minority AIDS Council and other groups.

According to his official website, the Chicago show will now take place Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom.
