Onetime presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minnesota, will deliver the Indiana University Maurer School of Law’s Addison C. Harris Lecture, “Antitrust: An Opportunity for Progress in the Face of Polarization,” on Friday, Feb. 4, at noon ET (11 a.m. CT).
The virtual event is free and open to the public, although advanced registration is required. Attendees will have the chance to submit prior to the event.
Klobuchar is chairwoman of the Senate Rules Committee and the Judiciary Subcommittee on Competition Policy, Antitrust and Consumer Rights. A member of the Joint Economic Committee and the Senate Commerce Committee, among other assignments, she became the first woman elected a senator from Minnesota in 2006.
