Out lesbian comedian/actress Wanda Sykes will be at the venue during Pride Month—on Friday, June 17. Sykes—one of the co-hosts of the upcoming Academy Awards (with Regina Hall and Amy Schumer)—became known for her wit as a writer on The Chris Rock Show, for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1999. In addition, she has acted in everything from the movie Monster-in-Law (with Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez) to TV series such as Q-Force, The New Adventures of Old Christine and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Also performing that at that venue on the same evening is country-music singer Jo Dee Messina (“Lesson in Leavin'”).
