On May 30, during Memorial Day/International Mr. Leather (IML) weekend, the leather shop 64TEN honored late photographer/leatherman Ed Negron with a tribute and honorary street-naming ceremony.
The events were held at the corner of Clark Street and Devon Avenue.
A press release from 64TEN stated, “Ed Negron was such an inspiration to our 64TEN family and the community. His countless contributions to the LGBTQ+ community and his selfless and caring attitude proved how and why he touched so many people’s lives.”
Among those who attended were many of Negron’s friends and family members such as brother Leo Negron Rodriguez and mother Osnaida Rodriquez. State Rep. Greg Harris, a friend of Negron, handed a decree to the family members
