Beyonce—now the most-decorated singer in Grammys history—has added a second Chicago date to her newly announced “Renaissance” world tour, according to The Chicago Tribune.
She will now perform at Soldier Field on July 22-23.
Her website (http://tour.beyonce.com) states that the global tour will begin in Europe on May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden, with Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Warsaw and London as some of the other stops. She will then star the North American leg on July 8 with two shows in Toronto before touring the United States, with some of her shows taking place in Miami, Phoenix, D.C., Boston, Seattle, Houston (her hometown) and Las Vegas before wrapping up things Sept. 27 in New Orleans. (She will go back to Canada with a Sept. 11 show in Vancouver.)
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Feb. 6-9 via Ticketmaster, the Tribune noted. Buyers will need to register through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system. The Verified Fan sale begins Feb. 11. People will closely watch Ticketmaster in the wake of last year’s debacle involving Taylor Swift tickets.
