On Dec. 7, Sidetrack Video Bar held its 13th Annual Santa Speedo Run, a celebration considered by many to be the start of Gay Christmas.
This year the crowd filled the bar to capacity before the start of the run, with participants and supporters entertained by longtime hostess Debbie Fox with help from Sasha Love and Boy J.
The event benefited Center on Halsted with total funds exceeding well over $165,000.00. Sponsors for the event included Happy Thursday, Miller High Life, Perrier, TPAN, The Men’s Room, Tito’s and 44th Ward Alderman Bennett Lawson.
