The family- and pet-friendly festival, organized by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, featured food and drink, local vendors, a kids’ area, and five stages of performances. A portion of the proceeds supported more than a dozen local nonprofits.

Friday’s opening ceremonies included the traditional raising of the flowered Maypole. The Chamber also presented the Kurt Mathiasson Award for Community Service to more than 50 local women business owners.

Marvette Devo, who performed with Making Art Your Opportunity on Sunday, noted that the crowd seemed even bigger than in past years. “People need an escape. They’re craving community and a place to commune because the world is so chaotic right now.”

According to a statement from the Chamber, “We’re so thankful to everyone who came out not just to have a great time, but also support our incredible community.”
