DIFFA board members Tom Karas and Beth Cole served as hosts for the evening with Darren Jones taking the Unsung Hero Award. By the end of the evening, $42,000 was raised.

DIFFA Chicago is one of the few HIV/AIDS organizations that grants unrestricted funds to HIV/AIDS service agencies in the Chicago area, providing spending in direct care and educational programs.

The organization raises awareness for HIV through media and digital outreach, sponsorships, annual design events, local partnerships and fundraising events. DIFFA is aligned with the state initiative Getting to Zero Illinois, which has a goal of zero new HIV transmissions, and zero people living with HIV who are not actively engaged in care, by the year 2030.
