Care2Prevent, an HIV care initiative at University of Chicago, and Casa Esperanza, a transitional housing organization for women, partnered for a World AIDS Day symposium on Dec. 1.
The event featured a panel discussion on PrEP, HIV awareness, safe sex, and the importance of adhering to HIV medications. There was also a joyful ballroom dance lesson from Skai Underwood and Aaliyah Mason of Taskforce Community Services.

Other partners in the symposium included Aetna Better Health of Illinois, Kindness Campaign, Lawrence Hall, Chicago Center for HIV Elimination, Emmans, TaskForce Prevention & Community Services, Brave Space Alliance and AIDS Foundation of Chicago.
