The Mr. Chicago Leather contest weekend kicked off at Touche, 6412 N. Clark St., for a meet and greet, on Jan. 30, with Jeff Tucker, International Mr. Leather 1994, as emcee.
Judges this year included J-Hummingbird, Mr. Chicago Leather 2025; Voudou Onyx; Andreas Jungemann, Mr. Berlin 2024; Mademoiselle Ceci; Vivian; and Dr. Carlton Thomas.
Four contestants competed for the title this year: Achsel, Bad Wolf Eleven, Joey Metler and Brent. On Jan. 31, J-Hummingbird gave his step down speech and passed the sash on to this year’s winner of Mister Chicago Leather 2026, Joey Metler, who will go on to compete in the International Mister Leather contest on Memorial Day Weekend of 2026.
Achsel placed first runner-up, Brent placed second runner-up, and Bad Wold Eleven placed third runner-up. The weekend concluded on Feb. 1, with a celebratory brunch at Hamburger Mary’s, 1055 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
