Horizons Community Services announces the recipients of it Human First Award and Community Spirit Award to be presented at the 12th Human First gala celebration March 24 at the Hyatt.
This year’s Human First Award will be presented to members of the About Face Youth Theatre Company. The Community Spirit Award will be presented to Harvey J. Burstein who has enabled Horizons and countless other LGBT organizations to serve the community through support provided by the Burstein Family Foundation. Burstein is a Chicago native who divides his time between residences in Chicago and South Beach, Fla.
The event will include dinner, dancing, and an auction. The event is chaired by Denise C. Foy and David Kulawiak. Tickets begin at $200, with sponsorships starting at $3,000. Call (773) 472-6469 extension 420.
