Michaeline Chvatal (pictured left), an integral part of the local lesbian feminist choral group The Artemis Singers, passed away Feb. 16. She died surrounded by several good friends from Artemis who sang for her.
A strong supporter of the arts, Chvatal contributed to such organizations as the collective Arts of Life.
There will be a memorial Sat., March 8, at Unity Church, 1925 W. Thome, at 2 p.m. More details about Chvatal’s life and memorial will be posted online as they become available, and will run in next week’s Windy City Times.
