Center on Halsted has received the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Award for Outstanding Non-Profit Real Estate Project at the 14th Annual Chicago Neighborhood Development Awards.
The Center received the award and $15,000 during the Local Initiatives Support Corporation of Chicago’s annual award ceremony on Feb. 7. It was recognized for its commitment to the LGBT community and its ‘design ingenuity,’ according to a statement released.
