One fan from the audience asked her to play “Man of the Hour” and, to the surprise of many, she did it. Not many performers will shake up their set lists to appease a fan, but to her credit she honored that person’s request. She brought the sold-out venue a strong hour-and-a-half show with smiles and focus on the piano. She did play some new tracks, such as “Miriam” and “Say Goodbye,” while including past hit “Don’t Know Why.”
Of course, she did “Sunrise” and “Come Away With Me” pleasing more of the crowd in the perfect venue for an artist that keeps things simple while still remaining faithful to her unique sound. Photos and text by Jerry Nunn
