The 32-year-old group NewTown Writers has elected a new board.
The group elected Timothy Rey as president, Joe Conant as vice president and Marc Frasier as its new workshop chair in September. In addition, writer David Guarino is on the board as well.
In a statement, Rey said, “NewTown Writers is looking forward to an exciting year! Under this new board, we are striving to become more visible and to bolster membership through aggressive outreach, enjoyable fundraisers and (of course) our free workshops in an attempt to attract younger members.”
