Tickets for the fifth annual Baconfest Chicago sold out in 41 minutes, confirming that many people would indulge in pork products—and there would be miles of smiles.

The event took place April 20 at the UIC Forum, and approximately 3,000 people attended the lunch and dinner sessions (general admission and VIP).

Among the dozens of restaurants present this year were Slurping Turtle, Mexique, The Signature Room on the 95th, Bacaro (in Champaign), One North Kitchen & Bar, South Water Kitchen, Hearty, David Burke’s Primehouse at the James, Townhouse and Spacca Napoli Pizzeria.
