Throughout the year local BLUF clubs in various cities have held anniversary nights with London celebrating last month. In Chicago the party was organized byBLUF-Chicago the local club which holds regular monthly leather socials at Touché and leather cigar nights at Blue Havana for members and uniform fans. Saturday night saw leather men & fans in the required dress code and uniform gear. Members from other clubs also participated in the night of festivities,.
The anniversary event also marked four years of BLUF in Chicago. Since its re-launch in 2013 BLUF-Chicago has grown to over 70 members representing four states. “We’re seeing more men wearing full motorcycle and uniform leather at our gear night socials and cigar events” said Michael. The Chicago club lead organizer. Michael noted that “BLUF men are the type of men that artist Tom of Finland drew, and club night can feel like you stepped into a real life drawing of Tom’s men.” “It’s always a friendly kinky good energy night” Michael added.
BLUF Chicago also gives back to the community by contributing and volunteering at The Leather Archives and Museum, The Broadway Youth Center, Grocery Land, the services of Vital Bridges, and The Legacy Project among other causes and health care outreach..
