Responding to requests for guidance, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Community and Public Outreach has given approval for military members to wear their uniforms in the upcoming San Diego Pride Parade, providing they are participating “in their personal capacity” and adhere to standards of proper wear of the uniform.
