Dozens of top-name local and national drag and female impersonator acts strutted their stuff for the first Wigstock Chicago, sponsored by the Chicago Area Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. Lady Bunny, creator of the original Wigstock in New York (this is the last year in the Big Apple), was the hostess with the mostess.
