The respected weekly magazine Slovak Spectator named gay activist Peter Kralik its man of the year.
Kralik, head of a national coalition of gay groups known as Inakost (Difference), told the magazine: “I’m trying to help change society so that more Slovaks can come out, and so that others accept the natural fact that homosexuals exist in Slovakia, and that we have always been here and will always be here.”
