The First Annual Green is for Grassroots Art Walk on Oct. 14 and 15, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.—and it’s an arts movement and more, according to event organizer and artist Erik R. Sosa.
The works of more than 20 North Side artists, many who are from the Uptown neighborhood, will be on display and for sale. The result will be a diverse compilation of top-quality artwork: ceramics, fiber, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography and more.
‘The Art Walk lets us celebrate with the community the talent and diversity of Uptown,’ Sosa said in a statement. ‘We hope the Art Walk will be an annual tradition—a ‘can’t miss’ event that celebrates the best of undiscovered talent that Uptown has to offer.’
