Test Positive Aware Network (TPAN) announced that Executive Director Rick Bejlovec resigned Oct. 3.
Bejlovec has been executive director of the HIV/AIDS organization since 2004. He first joined TPAN in 1995.
According to a press release, TPAN’s board president Condon McGlothlen said, ‘Rick did many good things for TPAN, the clients it serves, and the readers of Positively Aware magazine. He was a leader in Chicago’s HIV community. We will work to build on his achievements moving forward.’
TPAN board of directors named its director of client services, Bill Farrand, as the interim executive director. Farrand also worked as TPAN’s editor of the Illinois HIV Services Directory and its prevention manager.
