The first LGBTQ+ Star Trek Collector’s Edition, the issue includes four different collectible print covers featuring actors Wilson Cruz, Anthony Rapp, Blu del Barrio and Ian Alexander, and Tig Notaro, and a feature interview with co-showrunner Michelle Paradise.
There will also be two special bonus digital covers of Mary Wiseman and Emily Coutts. Both actors recently came out, making Star Trek: Discovery one of the most diverse LGBTQ+-inclusive casts in television history.
The Hollywood issue also focuses on the importance of geek culture to queer people, including interviews with Lego artist and Trekkie Samuel Hatmaker as well as Cameron Bess on becoming the first furry in space.
The digital edition of Out will be available Tuesday, Feb. 8, and on newsstands Tuesday, Feb. 22.
The show’s fourth season returns with new episodes Thursday, Feb. 10, on Paramount+.
