On Monday, June 28, at 7 p.m. ET, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) and the National LGBTQ Task Force will co-host a virtual event, “Pride Then & Now: Honoring the Past, Looking to the Future of Pride,” to mark Pride month this year.
The event will feature the leaders of HRC, NCLR and the Task Force being interviewed by young transgender activists. It will celebrate the accomplishments of the LGBTQ community while also recognizing the progress still left to achieve for full LGBTQ equality.
Activists Rebekah Bruesehoff and Nico Craig will moderate a panel consisting of HRC President Alphonso David, NCLR Executive Director Imani Rupert-Gordon and Task Force Executive Director Kierra Johnson.
