ART Virgil Catherine Gallery presenting 'C/Overt Observations' in Hinsdale

Virgil Catherine Gallery—at 45 S. Washington St., in Hinsdale—will host an artist reception for its latest exhibition, “C/Overt Observations,” on Saturday, March 19, 5-8 p.m., spotlighting renowned art, fashion and celebrity photographer Udo Spreitzenbarth, who has captured celebrities such as Tyra Banks, The Jonas Brothers, John Legend, Cindy Crawford and more.

The exhibition, which will be on view through Saturday, April 16, will also feature key pieces by Guy Stanley Philoche, Greggory St. Amand, Ramona Nordal, Larry Stewart, Christon Anderson and Patricia Dolan.

“C/Overt Observations” will spotlight works such as “Lili Marleen” and “Voodoo Child,” by Spreitzenbarth; “Tiffany Bull,” by Stewart; “Andy Warhol,” by Nordal; “Bronx Bomber,” by St. Amand; and one of Philoche’s works from his “Paper Airplane” series.
