Chicago Gay Men&#39s Chorus to present &#39Unimaginable&#39 on May 20-22

The Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus will present the spring show “CGMC: Unimaginable,” on May 20-22 at three Chicagoland venues.

The performances will take place Friday, May 20, at 8 p.m. at Chicago’s Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture, 2936 N. Southport Ave.; Saturday, May 21, at 8 p.m. at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, 9501 Skokie Blvd., Skokie; and Sunday, May 22, at 3 p.m. at Chicago’s Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St.

Audiences can look forward to a chorus of 150 members, 35 dancers and almost 40 soloists across all three performances. The show will feature songs such as “It’s Quiet Uptown,” from Hamilton; “Pure Imagination,” from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory; “Just My Imagination;” Eric Whitacre’s “Cloudburst;” and, of course, John Lennon’s “Imagine.”
