Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will be the keynote speaker at the 30th Annual Awards Luncheon for the abortion-rights group Personal PAC.

The event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 17, at noon at the Chicago Hilton International Ballroom, 720 S. Michigan Ave.

In addition to Whitmer’s speech, Terry Cosgrove, Rabbi Harold Sudan and Benita Ulisano will be honored. Cosgrove was the president and CEO of Personal PAC for 33 years (1989-2022). Kudan—the founding rabbi of Glencoe’s Congregation Am Shalom—was a member of Clergy Consultation Services, an underground network of 1,400 to 2,000 rabbis, ministers and priests who helped women obtain illegal abortions. Ulisano is the founder of The Clinic Vest Project, whose mission is to provide free clinic escort vests to groups that support service facilities offering the full range of reproductive healthcare options including safe and legal abortions.

Tickets start at $250 each; visit http://www.personalpac.org/events/30th-annual-awards-luncheon/.
