Wow! Thanks to the more than 500 people who turned out for the Windy City Gay Idol finals at Circuit. All 16 contestants were so professional, well-prepared and deserving of being in the finals. Whether it was talent or marketing power, they all took is seriously. Since I hate to upset anyone, I would have chosen most of the finalists to represent our first Gay Idol. Certainly top-two finishers Luis and Amazon both deserved to win! We expect to present these singers around town soon. Photos in this Nightspots and in Windy City Times, online WindyCityTimes.com. Thanks to Bud Light, W Hotel, American Airlines, Materville Studios and Creaoke Creagh. And to all the staff, volunteers, host bars, judges, MCs and so many more!
