On the evening of June 27, Lincoln Park Zoo, as part of its “Adults Night Out” program, presented its annual Pride party.
Guests were treated to a leisurely evening of strolling the zoo grounds, face painting, drag bingo, mini-lectures on animal sexuality (including both a “Lion Chat” and “Penguin Chat” as well as talk on bisexual botany), lawn games, free-flowing drinks, complimentary rides on an endangered species carousel and a roving aromatic exhibit. All of it was topped off by explosive drag performances led by local artist Abhiijeet.
