Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese amassed her 13th consecutive double-double during an 84-71 loss to the Seattle Storm on July 7.

In scoring 17 points and grabbing 14 rebounds, she surpassed WNBA great (and former Sky player) Candace Parker’s all-time record of 12 consecutive games, which spanned the 2009-10 seasons.
Chennedy Carter led the Sky in scoring for the fourth straight game, recording 21 points. Marina Mabrey recorded 14 points, five rebounds and six assists while Isabelle Harrison scored 11 points. Nneka Ogwumike led the Storm in scoring with a 24-point, 13-rebound effort. The game marked just the fifth time in WNBA history that three players have recorded at least 10 points and 13 rebounds (Reese; Ogwumike; and the Storm’s Ezi Magbegor, who had 13 points and 13 rebounds) in the same contest.
The Sky head back home to Wintrust Arena to take on the Atlanta Dream on Wed., July 10. Chicago is 1-1 this season against Atlanta after defeating the Dream in the first game of this current road trip.
