From Oct. 4-6, as part of the Andersonville Arts Weekend, the Chicago Therapy Collective presented its annual Trans & Queer Artist Showcase at 5237 N. Clark St.
The event brought together a multitude of individuals working in sculpture, acrylic ink, painting, illustration, video, multi-media, printmaking and collage work to promote queer and trans viewpoints in the visual arts. Artists for the event included Koda Pendants, Charles Oliver, Ralph Skunkie Davis, Chi Nwosu, Paige Weiss, Quinn Berleman-Paul and Robin Cornilius, with video provided by Clothide M. Cook and music and sound installations by DJ Ty Jones and Naxo. The showcase was curated by Parker Haines and has been presented by the collective since 2018.
