The Mr. Chicago Leather contest kicked off at Touche, 6412 N. Clark St., on Jan. 25 with Mistress of Ceremonies Batty Davis as host.
Judges this year included Mr. Wilton Manors Eagle 2024 and IML 2024 runner-up Steve Crespo; International Ms. Leather Goddess Indigo; Leatherman of Color 2023 Phobos Onyx; Bootblack Atlas; Mister Chicago Leather 2009 Ammar Houssamo; and Mister Chicago Leather 2024 Vince Jay.
Three contestants vied for the title this year: Carl Duncan, J Hummingbird and Bad Wolf Eleven. Vince Jay gave his step-down speech and passed the sash on to this year’s winner of Mister Chicago Leather 2025, J Hummingbird, who will go on to compete in the International Mr. Leather contest on Memorial Day Weekend 2025.
