David Dodd Events, Rails Marketing Group and Chicago Urban Pride kicked off the new year with 2025’s first Status Saturday event at Hubbard Inn, 110 W. Hubbard St., on Jan. 25.
The SRO event continues efforts to build community by opening the doors to LGBTQ+ individuals for a monthly soiree. This edition featured DJ Darryl Garcon and DJ Juke Tha Kidd, with Trina Truluz serving as hostess. The next Status Saturday will be held in February at the Promontory in Hyde Park.
