1. Ahhh, dogs. They are always happy to see us, want us to rub their bellies, and sometimes like to make us feel wanted by … humping on our legs. (This isn’t unlike some “friendlier” patrons at sundry bars and clubs.) Anyway, canine lovers (and I mean that in the platonic sense) might want to hop on over to the Harry Barker site (www.harrybarker.com). You can pant over different items to wear or even select an oil painting that resembles Rover (or Tito or Anna Nicole). Feel free to get a bathrobe for your doggie or even buy a hemp bag … and “enjoy” the contents. (Just kidding, of course’).
2. If you think you are the epitome of fitness … or if you like to ogle perfect physical specimens’ take a gander at the website StrengthNet (www.strengthnet.com). Everywhere you see gorgeous men! You can read the biographies of the principals (and, boy, are they hot!). You can buy fitness videos (and, boy, are the models hot!). Lastly, you can read biographies of the models (and, boy … well, you get the message). Soon, you’ll be able to hire these models … and I definitely have plans for several of them.
3. On the flip side, Game Face (www.gamefaceonline.org) profiles female athletes and posits the question of what a female athlete looks like. The book and exhibition (which, unfortunately, is currently only going up and down the East Coast) that tackle this subject include such players as basketball’s Nikki McCray, bodybuilding’s Mary Elfer, and tennis ace Serena Williams. (And who doesn’t remember soccer’s Brandi Chastain stripping off her shirt in exultation after the U.S. beat China?)
