Internationally Known Dancer to Perform at Games Ceremonies

Nanae, a world-renowned dancer who specializes in Middle Eastern and Oriental forms of dance, will be traveling from Tokyo to participate in the Opening and Closing ceremonies of Gay Games VII.

The piece for the Opening Ceremony is entitled ‘A Feeling Like Love’, an homage to finding inner strength, power, and pride. The Closing piece, ‘Where It All Begins,’ is about celebrating the uniqueness.

Nanae joins a host of other entertainers slated to perform, including Cyndi Lauper, Andy Bell of Erasure, Margaret Cho, Jody Watley and Megan Mullally.
