Vice-President All Gore made his first post election appearance in Chicago April 23 to thank campaign staff, contributors and friends. At an evening reception at the restaurant 437 Rush, Gore was upbeat and positive. “The Vice-President was grateful, comical, and hopeful about his past, present and future,” according to Michael Segobiano, president of the Chicago Stonewall Democrats and former Gore campaign staff member. The Vice-President indicated that he would assess his future after “further self-reflection.” “There was no discussion of the current White House occupant,” said Segobiano.
