The National Lesbian and Gay Law Association has announced that its Lavender Law Career Fair and Conference will be held Sept. 6-8 at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan—and a kickoff celebration was recently held at the Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted. (A couple of the attendees are pictured above.)
More than 500 LGBT lawyers, law professors, law students, judges and other legal professionals will attend the conference. The conference and career fair will offer cutting-edge continuing legal education courses and dozens of workshops.
