The Chicago Cubs teamed with the McCormick Foundation April 27 to announce more than $1 million in donations to almost 50 non-profit organizations serving those in need in the Chicago area. The event marked the sixth consecutive year more than $1 million has been donated to the community through Cubs Care, a fund of the McCormick Foundation. Among the organizations that received funds are Center on Halsted, Howard Brown Health Center, Night Ministry and YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago.
