The School of the Art Institute hosted three fashion shows May 7, making this its 76th annual affair. Students showcased their pieces throughout the day and evening. Awards and scholarships were handed out, including the $25,000 Eunice W. Johnson Fellowship, named after the late co-founder of, among other things, the Ebony Fashion Fair. This was the first time that the event took place in Griffin Court in the Institute’s Modern Wing, 159 E. Monroe. For more information visit saic.edu. Text and photos by Jerry Nunn
