Leading DJs and music promoters will hold a press conference March 19 announcing opposition to two Congressional bills that could land many promoters, bar and club owners, and stadium owners in jail if even one person uses drugs at their events. the press conferece is at the Winter Music Conference in Miami.Opponents dubbed the bills ‘footloose’ after the 1984 Kevin Bacon movie about a small town that banned music and dancing.
