Chicago will host the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association’s (IGLTA’s) annual global convention in 2013. This is the first time Chicago will be the site of the organization’s signature networking and educational event.

“Chicago is a wonderful fit for our 2013 convention,” said Tanya Churchmuch, IGLTA board chair, in a statement. “Not only is it a top-tier destination with a vibrant and diverse LGBT community, but the city also offers exceptional air access for both our North American and global members. This will be a perfect opportunity for Chicago to highlight its amazing offerings to gay and lesbian travelers from around the world.”
