The Evangelical Catholic Diocese of the Northwest will honor several individuals—including Equality Illinois’ Rick Garcia and Cook County Clerk David Orr—with the Saint Joseph the Worker Award Saturday, Nov. 13. The event will take place at the Pastoral Center of Atonement, 5749 N. Kenmore; concelebrated mass will start at 4 p.m., cocktails will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Among the other nine honorees are the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, Unite Here Local #1 and Cook County Commissioner John Fritchey.
