The Chicago Blackhawks (15-18-5) defeated the Anaheim Ducks (19-15-7) 3-0 at the United Center on Jan. 15.
It was Chicago's fourth consecutive victory.
There were 73 combined shots between the Blackhawks and the Ducksthe most in a regulation game for Chicago this seasonand Marc-Andre Fleury was perfect, with 37 saves. It was Fleury's third shutout of the season and 70th of his career; he's just the 14th NHL goalie to ever reach that mark.
Chicago heads to Seattle to face the Kraken on Monday, Jan. 17.
The Bulls are dealing with a different streak.
On Jan. 15, the Chicago Bulls (27-14) lost their third consecutive game, 114-112 at the Boston Celtics (22-22).
Boston rallied after trailing 112-106 with 1:57 to play, ESPN.com noted.
Nikola Vucevic led Chicago with 27 points; Jayson Tatum led Boston with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
However, the Bulls received some good news: An MRI showed no structural damage to the knee of Zach LaVine, who left the Jan. 14 loss to the Golden State Warriors early in the game.
Chicago will next take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, Jan. 17, in Tennessee.
