The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) most recently added four statesColorado, Maryland, Nebraska and South Dakotato its weekly COVID-19 Travel Advisory.
There are now 43 states and two territories on the Travel Advisory, with all of them surpassing the mark of 15 new COVID-19 cases per day, per 100,000 residents. The District of Columbia, which was on the list last week, was moved off, as its daily case rate per 100,000 residents dropped to 13.7.
States and territories on the advisory now include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado,Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland,Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
CDPH continues to hold vaccination events across the city and distribute information to all Chicagoans. In-home vaccination is also available to all Chicago residents through Protect Chicago At Home.
