CHICAGO — Center on Halsted is currently recruiting for three open positions in our HIV department. We are looking for Bilingual Health Educators. This is a full-time, on-site position with complete benefits package.
The duties for this position entail:
Providing HIV and HCV testing, pre- and post- test counseling, linkage to care and client referrals.
Provide clear and accurate results to the client in English and/or Spanish
Working with clients to decrease their risk for contracting HIV and STIs and provide health education related to safer sex practices.
Training will be provided for individuals hired for this position and will be administered through reading, online training modules, and hands-on training activities. In addition, this position requires daily data entry and a working knowledge of Microsoft suite programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
